For 2026, my top lawn weed hack is acting early in spring to pull young weeds by hand when soil is moist, or using a DIY mix of:

1 gallon white vinegar,

1 cup salt, and,

1 tbsp dish soap 

… for spot treatment.

For long-term control, you know the drill: apply a pre-emergent herbicide in early spring to prevent germination, followed by consistent mowing to starve weeds. What are your lawn weeds hacks in 2026, please share yours in the comment area.
